EDEN STRIKE

The Halpert Family Foundation, a coalition dedicated to upholding the rights and welfare of educational professionals and students, formally announces a general strike against Eden Educational Trust, effective immediately.

The decision to initiate this strike follows extensive negotiations and numerous attempts to address critical issues affecting educators, students, and the quality of education within the Trust's institutions. Despite our best efforts to engage in constructive dialogue, Eden Educational Trust has consistently failed to:

• Educators continue to face unfair wages and lack of appropriate benefits, which undermines their dedication and ability to provide high-quality education.

• Chronic underfunding and insufficient resources have created an unsustainable and stressful working environment for both teachers and students.

• Inadequate safety measures and protocols have put the well-being of our educators and students at risk.

• Disparities in resource allocation and support services have exacerbated inequalities, disadvantaging vulnerable student populations.

The Halpert Family Foundation stands united in its commitment to securing a fair and just educational environment. Our demands are clear:

• Immediate revision of compensation packages to reflect the true value and contributions of our educators.

• Implementation of comprehensive measures to improve working conditions, including resource allocation and workload management.

• Enforcement of stringent safety protocols to ensure the physical and mental well-being of all individuals within educational institutions.

• Commitment to educational equity, ensuring all students have access to the necessary resources and support to succeed.

During the strike, we urge parents, students, and the wider community to support our cause by understanding the gravity of these issues and the long-term benefits of a reformed educational system. We regret any inconvenience caused but affirm that this action is a necessary step towards achieving sustainable and meaningful change.

The Halpert Family Foundation remains open to dialogue and negotiation. We call upon Eden Educational Trust to engage sincerely and constructively to resolve these critical issues. Our strike will continue until our demands are met and substantial progress is made.
